Leverage The Power Of Viral Marketing
The concept of viral marketing is not new, but how to apply it correctly in the internet age takes knowledge and skill. Using the right tools can shoot you past the competition and leave them in your dust.
Wouldn’t you like it if you could tap into that same huge traffic funnel and send it to your site instead? What if I told you that not only could you, but I’m going to show you 21 proven techniques to send a flood of viral traffic to your site!
Focus is the Key to Success
Owning your own business is a dream for many people. Being able to
call your own shots and set your own hours is certainly an
appealing idea. However, often people realize their dream only to
discover that working on their own and running their own business
is much more difficult than they ever expected.
There is a lot more to running your own business than simply
working day by day. There are distractions at every turn and often
people find it difficult to actually get anything accomplished. For
all these people who are struggling, what they need to do is focus.
Usually when you’re trying to run your own business, you have more
than one project going at once. So the first thing you need to make
sure you focus on is one project at a time. Beyond the projects,
you also want to make sure you have a very clear focus of what you
want to accomplish and how much money you want to make.
Before you can even begin to get focused you first need to make
sure you’re organized. If you’re one of those people who cringes
when the word “organization” is mentioned then don’t worry. You
just need to get organized enough so that you know what needs to
get done. This means you need to make a schedule that includes both
what you need to complete long-term and what you need to do for
that day.
Once you know what you need to get done on a specific day then you
need to focus on just those tasks. So break the tasks down even
further. How long will each of them take you? When exactly will you
work on them? Once you know these things then you just need to
focus on each task when you’re supposed to be doing it. In other
words, don’t worry about anything else except what you’ve planned
to focus on.
You want to be able to focus on each project and you also want to
keep track of how long each project takes you to complete. Then you
need to keep track of how much money you make from each project.
That way you can tell how productive you’re being. You can even
chart exactly how much money you’re making each hour and each day. This way you’ll be able to focus on the projects that are most profitable for you.
When you go into business for yourself, you can quickly lose
yourself in the avalanche of everyday tasks and your long-term
goals. That’s why it’s so important to focus on exactly what you
want to do.
Becoming focused and staying that way will help you know exactly
what needs to be done each day so that you are productive each day.
Focus will also help you complete your long-term goals faster and
focus will allow you to know how much money you are making per day, per week, and per project.
Focus will help you be more successful daily and with your entire
business.
I Made It
Well I made to California yesterday. Wyoming was an experience as I was going from Laramie to Rawlins, through some mountains and storm was brewing. As I was coming down the it started to rain and there is no place to turn off or stop. We I finally got down the rain got really bad but finally passed and was clear for a little while but as I got closer to Rawlins it started to rain again and was getting close to evening so I pulled off for the night.
The next morning I left at 7am, crossed the Continetal Divide and drove roughly 12 hours until I finally reach Reno where my boyfriend was working a baseball game. There are a lot of mountains between Missouri and Nevada and I’m not crazy about mountain driving but the U-Haul handled very well and I eventually got use to driving next to semis and passing them when necessary. It took me 3 days to finally get to Reno and I’m glad that drive is over.
Now I will need to settle in and start my new routine here in California and continue to grow in my knowledge of being an IM’er.
Trip Update
Well I wasn’t able to leave on the 8th as I had planned, there was complications thanks to my son being difficult. So I left Columbia, MO around 1:30pm on the 9th and made it to Lincoln, Nebraska that night around 9pm. The I-29 interchange to I-80 in Nebraska was just nuts but I got through it.
This morning I left Lincoln around 8am got through the rest of Nebraska and into Wyoming today. But the weather in Wyoming was not very cooperative today. I went through Medicine Bow National Park and in the distance I could see the clouds were getting darker and not very friendly looking but after you pass Laramie, WY there is nothing around until Rawlings so there was no choice but to keep going. It had started to rain as I was coming down out of Medicine Bow National Park and when I got down it really got bad. The radio kept giving out National Services Advisory which was Sever Thunder Storms Warnings and Tornado Watch and I’m thinking great I spent 10 years in Missouri without seeing a tornado and now I will probably see on in Wyoming out in the middle of nowhere lol. But at least I didn’t see one of those today but the storm was bad enough, I could barely see the tail lights of the car in front of me.
After that storm passed and I was able to pick up speed again I could make up some time as I wanted to get as close to Utah as possible but Mother Nature had other plans as the closer I got to Rawlings, WY another storm was brewing and it was after 6pm and I thought this is a good place to stop for the night. So tomorrow I will have a lot of driving to do as I really need to get to Reno tomorrow.
Update On Move
Son found a new place to live so he will start moving out on Tues.
I’m Leaving Tomorrow…
I just wanted to let you all know that I’ve got the uhaul truck to day and will finish loading it up tomorrow morning. I meet with the middleman at 2pm to go through the house and if every looks good I give him the keys and he gives me the money agreed upon for me clearing out in 21 days. Then I will be heading on my journey to meet my boyfriend in Reno.
I will be going through Nebraska, Wyoming, down through Utah then Nevada. I’m hoping to get at least through Nebraska tomorrow before I stop for the night. I will post again tomorrow night to let you all know where I”m at in my journey.
My Move
I finally got some info from the “middle man” that the person who bought my house is using about when I need to be out. They offered me something called “Keys for Cash” program and I had until last Friday to decide if I want to do that. I decided I did so I called the “middle man” on Wednesday and he brought the paperwork by on Friday for me to sign. This is so that I won’t have the Sheriff come by and serve me a eviction notice. So I need to be out on or before June 9th and it is good to have a date to be working towards. I’m trying to keep things at the least amount of stress as possible as I need to move so there is no point in dragging this out any longer than necessary.
My messy house is driving me nuts but I’m using one of the spare bedrooms to put the boxes of things I’m keeping in which helps keep the living room not so crowded. I’ve almost have all of the downstairs cleared out and just about everything that I’m selling is upstairs. I’ve sold a lot by contacting friends, posting things online in a local yahoo group for selling items and I’ve put some things in the the local paper’s classified section. I finally found new homes for my Beagle’s, which was hard but for the best as I don’t want to travel with dogs and in California I will be living in an apartment. There is a really good chance that I will be driving to California alone which is a bit scary but mapquest says it is roughly 27 hours and I only need to drive alone to Reno as my boyfriend will be working there that weekend, then we will drive on to California.
One thing that I have learned in my life is that life is never boring and you never really know what will happen both for the good and the bad. When I moved to Missouri I was pretty sure I would never go back to California to live but 11 years after I left, I’m going back. There are things I really like about Missouri such as the snow and the storms though not the tornadoesthat sometimes come with them. Missouri is really a beautiful state with its rolling hills which are always green in Spring and Summer. But my youngest son, who right now lives with me, has decided to stay in Missouri so I will be back hopefully from time to time to see him.
Update On How Things Are Going
Well I found out last week that my house was foreclosed on and since then things have been a little crazy. My son has decided to stay in Missouri so he is looking for a place to live. As for me, I’m moving back to California to be with my new love in my life. We have been talking about moving in together but this just pushed things up sooner than we had planned. I never really thought I would be living in California again as that is where I was living when I met Barry but it is what it is.
So last week and this week I’ve been selling whatever I can and what I have left I will put in storage here in Missouri and then come back later to pick them up. It will be less stressful as we will be able to plan it a little better to work it around his job.
I still haven’t figured out why the comments do not work on my blog so if you want to comment, email me at martha[at]easytoolbox.com and I will try and reply back. I will still be continuing the business as I can do this from anywhere.
Product Review: Traffic Annihilator
Traffic Annihilator is a new site that says it guarantees more CONVERTING web visitors and online advertising with very little effort or cost. So I decided to put it to the test…
My first impression was the site looks professional and clean, with an attractive look and feel. It is easy to read and understand. Joining the site was easy and painless–they do offer 2 upgrade options but they are not required to gain the benefits.
The Members Area is very well laid out and intuitive–I could figure out what to do after only a few minutes and was able to get up and running in less than 5 minutes. Inside the site, you create links and ads–the links you simply enter any URL links you use into the generator and it transforms them into “Traffic Annihilator” links. You create ads for anything you want to promote using the Traffic Annihilator Ad Generator, which is very easy to use. You can create as many links and as many ads as you like. And they are organized in a logical way–links are displayed in the order you create them but also your 5 most recent links appear on the main page for quick reference. Also, since the link generator is the tool you’ll use most, it is also right at the top of the main page when you login. Very smart!
After you’ve created at least 1 link and 1 ad you can start to generate traffic. Just use and promote the new Traffic Annihilator link instead of the original source link you had. Every time the Traffic Annihilator link is clicked, the page loads followed by a cool slide-up ad window at the bottom. It displays an ad PLUS an image with your affiliate link that goes back to Traffic Annihilator. So if anyone clicks the Traffic Annihilator image they see the site, and if they signup they become your referral. It’s a great viral feature because you can build referrals without even trying to just by using the site.
Now every time the ad window displays (your Traffic Annihilator links get clicked) you earn credits that get YOUR ad displayed in the ad windows when other members’ links get clicked. So the more clicks, the more times your ads get displayed.
And this works virally–meaning as you make referrals into Traffic Annihilator (either by promoting it or just using it and visitors click the Traffic Annihilator image on the ad window to join) you also earn ad credits on THEIR link clicks. And this works up to 5 levels deep. So you can create a massive amount of free ad views and web traffic by referring others to Traffic Annihilator also.
I didn’t get to test the full effect of a big downline yet (I just got the tool) but I can tell you the rest of the site works exactly as stated–my links got clicked, I earned credits, and my ads got displayed. Traffic Annihilator even tracked my results so I know how many clicks and how many ad displays. That was an impressive unadvertised extra feature.
There is one more benefit and feature which might be the best of them all–downline emailing. You can email your downline with offers, promotions, or whatever you like, and here is where Traffic Annihilator really shines. They took time to make the emailing often enough that it’s valuable as a user, but no so often that it’s a burden to your downline. But the best part about this feature (and actually the credit earning too) is that it tells you exactly how long until you can mail again. Now THAT’s cool.
Overall I have to say I am impressed with Traffic Annihilator. It is simple yet powerful, and delivers on its promises. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to increase traffic and advertising.

The REAL Secret to Building A High-Profit Internet Business
The REAL Secret to Building A High-Profit Internet Business
By Jimmy D. Brown
My wife laughs every time she sees me doing it.
At least once or twice every week, I’ll be at my desk (or
at the dining room table) with my Franklin Covey planner
open and a stack of laminated checklists in hand.
“What are you doing, honey?” she calls, already knowing
the answer.
“I’m planning”, I reply with a smile.
She laughs and I get back to work.
She laughs because she swears I spend half of my time
“planning”. But, if you ask me how I’m able to get as
much work done as I do in only 3 hours a day, I’ll point
to a black Franklin Covey planner with about a dozen
laminated checklists inside.
Building an Internet business is easy. Seriously. I’m
not saying that it’s not complicated, because it is. I’m
just saying that it’s easy to accomplish if you just have
a system in place.
There’s very little in this world that can’t be
accomplished with the right set of action steps in front
of you.
Today, I’m going to give you such a system for building
your Internet business. There are only 4 steps…
1. Decide What You Want To Do. Do you want to run an
eBay(R) business? Be an affiliate marketer? Buy and sell
reprint rights? Get involved in niche marketing? While
all of those things will likely find their way into your
plan in time, you gotta begin with one thing at a time.
My recommendation: Choose a “broad” topic you are
interested in and begin building a list of folks interested
in that topic.
2. Determine A Weekly Action Plan. After you decide what
you want to do, it’s time to determine how to get it done.
What I do is this: I create a weekly set of action steps.
That is,I have a set of things I do on Monday, on Tuesday
and so forth. Decide how many hours (as little as ONE) you
want to work each day and schedule yourself a reasonable
amount of things to get done in that time frame. Repeat
this process week after week.
My recommendation: Begin writing ezine articles to
promote your list … and affiliate programs. It’s the
easiest way to get free traffic and build your list at the
same time.
3. Devote Yourself To Staying On Schedule. The important
thing here is to stick to it. The easiest way that I know
of to make certain you develop discipline in your schedule
is to NOT set unrealistic expectations. Give yourself ample
time to do each day’s action step – don’t overschedule.
Look for progress along the way to celebrate. Reward
yourself when you’ve reached a milestone. And, remember,
you’re GROWING a business. Just like physical growth, it
takes time … it WILL happen if you remain committed.
My recommendation: Weave in simple activities related to
the following categories – List building (ezine articles),
product creation(conduct interviews or hire ghostwriters),
site development (making your site convert more visitors into
buyers)and education (continuing to learn new ways to grow
your business)
4. Develop Additional Shortcuts. As you get better and
better at working with your lists, creating products and
tweaking your site, you’ll want to continue to improve your
business with new ideas, strategies, tools and resources.
The key is simple: never stop learning!
Visit forums. Read articles. Download reports. Identify
sites and resources that CONTRIBUTE to your success in
educating you. You want faster results, bigger increases,
automated processes, and other ways to get more accomplished
and more profit, with less work involved.
Everything depends on your developing a plan and sticking to
it.
And that is the REAL secret to building a high-profit
Internet business!
